| Berkshire Hathaway unit sets up in Dublin |

General Re-New England Asset Management (GR-NEAM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Re Corporation who in turn are a a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc, have opened an office in Dublin. The company GR-NEAM Limited will offer capital and asset management products and services to their global customers.
‘We have a highly seasoned investment team in Dublin that will support the evolving needs of our current customers, and will help us to grow our business internationally,’ said Jerry Lynch, president and CEO of GR-NEAM. GR-NEAM is an SEC-registered investment advisor that specialises in offering capital and investment management services primarily to the insurance industry.
