Large multinational Group based in Dublin South due to rapid grown and recent restructurisation is currently sourcing for an Accounting Director

Duties of the role:
• Coordinate and control accounting activities within entire company being part of Large multinational group
• Manage and supervise month end close processes for the organisation
• Manage and supervise preparation of reports and analysis related to business units and company profits, losses, cash balances and other financial results
• Feed above results to the VP of the Group
• Ensure that all activities are in line with US GAAP, IFRS, Sox compliance and all risks and business issues accounted for and resolved.
• Manage and supervise audit function for the company both internal and external audit
• Act as a key decision maker for company’s budget and compliance
• Train, mentor and develop staff, responsible for hiring, promotions performance reviews etc

This Senior Accounting vacancy would suit a candidate with 6-10 years post Qualified experience and very strong hands on experience in accounting, procedures and controls.
The role requires excellent technical accounting skills, US GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance as well as proven team management experience at Director or Head of Finance level gained in large multinational organisation

Salary range €95-150K negotiable and depending on experience
