Senior Project Manager
My client, a Financial Services organization, is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager manage the conversion of a substantial piece of business from the clients existing service provider in to the company.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to manage client expectations and challenge clients view where appropriate.
• Ensure that issues are recognized and resolved asap.
• Communicate with clients re additional business opportunities
• Liaise with outgoing service provider where necessary
• Assist in the recruitment of staff to service the client where necessary
• Ensure that comprehensive project plans are in place and monitored to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Ensuring that an extensive IT development project is rolled out to agreed timeframes in order to meet conversion timeframes - liaison with IT project teams in Ireland and the US.
• Ensure that a comprehensive Operating Model is agreed with the client within agreed timeframes.
• Ensure that necessary resources are available for all stages of the project across service teams, conversions teams and IT.
• Ensure that all necessary processes and procedures are in place prior to moves taking place.
Experience Required:
• Excellent project management skills and ability to drive change.
• Comprehensive relationship management skills dealing with large and fast moving clients.
• Expectation of 12+ years related industry and/or project management skills
• Primary Degree or a Professional qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in Fund Accounting essential
• Excellent communication, organisational skills.
• Strong problem resolution and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities
