Corporate Relationship Manager Client: My client is a global investment bank with a first class reputation. Role: This is an excellent opportunity for someone with c. 5/7 years experience in Corporate or Investment Banking. Ideally, with a mix of Credit and Relationship Management experience. Liaising and working with Treasurers and CFOs of major corporates, the successful candidate will be a key member of a small team and will gain considerable experience in a dynamic large-corporate banking environment with personal responsibility for a portfolio of blue chip clients. Main Responsibilities: Management and development of a portfolio of domestic and multinational corporate clients. Ability to achieve challenging targets with a particular emphasis placed on identifying and progressing new business opportunities. Leading the credit review process and presentation of credit applications. Networking and developing strong working relationships externally (clients and other banks) and internally (other corporate banking teams, other product lines, group risk and other Group entities). Marketing and development of a portfolio of corporate prospects with the objective of developing new clients and new sources of revenue. Skills & Competencies At least 5 years experience in corporate or investment banking, possibly as a credit analyst or a relationship manager focused on larger corporate clients. Third level qualification in Finance & Accountancy or Treasury would be preferable. Sound appreciation of credit risk and an ability to interpret accounts. Good knowledge of Capital Markets, Treasury and Loans Syndication Markets. Knowledge of law relating to banking and finance would be an advantage Ability to work under pressure to tight and demanding deadlines is essential. |
