Chief Financial Officer
Our client is one of the leading companies in the on-line financial sector.
The company has created a strong client base in Ireland, and in currently deploying its on-line technology into the UK and other International Markets.
Role of the Chief Financial Officer:
The primary focus of this position will be to oversee the Group Finance Function based in Dublin. The CFO will be a key member of the management team. They will be commercially involved in all aspects of the business and will contribute to the development and execution of company strategy.
Key Responsibilities include
- To ensure the firms financial and reporting obligations under MiFID and other relevant legislation is managed proactively and competently.
- File and prepare all regulatory filings with local regulatory body, monthly financial return, etc.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearend accounting processes including the production of financial and analytical reports for use by management.
- Manage the daily functions of the overall accounting function including billing, AR, AP, GL and cash management, including the preparation of monthend journals entries and account reconciliation.
- Continue the development of the Company Financial system CODA
- Management of company daily cashflow
- Preparation and management of company budgets and forecasts.
- Work with CEO top develop strategic plan for the business.
- Manage the finance team of 4.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
For this position, applicants must have
- A full professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
-5 years post qualification experience within a transaction intensive environment (FMCG), or financial services, with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Have demonstrable experience of
Developing and implementing systems in a transaction intensive environment.
Foreign Exchange, Hedging and a general knowledge of world financial markets
