Job Title: Compliance Associate- Funds, Life And Investments
Location: Dublin
Position Type: Full Time
Ref: CLCOMPLIANCE
Remuneration: €42000 - €65000

Description:

Compliance Associate- Funds, Life and Investments

An immediate requirement exists within the compliance department for a Compliance Associate to assist with the organization, administration and enforcement of compliance.

The purpose of the role is to 1). Assist with compliance to ensure that the company complies with regulatory requirements in Ireland (IFSRA) and abroad 2). Liaising with Clients on compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

• Day to Day responsibility for exception reporting
• Individual fund investment compliance reviews (This will involve comparing for each individual fund, its actual assets, liabilities and holdings (which are included in the Fund Valuation) to the Investment Mandate for that fund (Post-compliance).
• Ensuring individual fund rules are coded to our pre-compliance module.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures
• Advise the Risk & Compliance Manager on compliance issues and risks
• Ensuring all compliance records are appropriately managed
• Support Risk Management


Requirements:

• A detailed knowledge and understanding of compliance & investment instruments would be an advantage
• A good understanding of investment restriction monitoring
• Proficiency in operational processes and systems, with appreciation of concept of controls and risk management in a regulatory environment and documentation of procedures and policies
• Have a high level of accuracy and a good attention to detail
• Sound judgment and ability to know when to escalate and when to seek internal or external assistance
• Good technical abilities and knowledge of fund management regulations and MiFid
• Practical business and product knowledge (life and investments)
• Understanding of industry practices with regard to compliance and regulations
