| Description: |
Insurance Risk Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the provision of expert Insurance risk assessment advice to the Risk network within AE markets and the AE central divisional and Executive team.
• Providing support in the effective and timely delivery of consolidated Insurance risk reporting
• Challenging/proposing, and ensuring the monitoring of, material insurance risk mitigation actions, including those arising from regular and ad hoc reporting , from strategic projects and the development of new products.
• Material Insurance risks are identified, reported promptly and resolved efficiently and within pre-determined timescales.
• Quality deliverables provided for all the relevant committees and stakeholders within agreed timescales.
• Evidence of the performance of the Insurance risk management framework, governance and control within the markets and AE provided in a prompt and efficient way.
• Participate in ensuring that all new insurance products are adequately reviewed from a risk perspective prior to their launch.
Requirements:
• A numerate degree
• An actuarial qualification.
• Significant experience in either Life and Pensions or GI.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with business and functional heads.
• Practical experience of insurance risk assessment and risk management frameworks.
• Ability to develop a good understanding of Internal Capital Assessment methodology
