Compliance Officer, Basel II A highly recognisable Bank is currently seeking to hire a Compliance Officer to join them in their South City based head office. This role will be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive list of up to date prudential Obligation are maintained and updated. In addition to this, the Compliance Officer will be accountable for the management and implementation of new directives and legislations and act as a representative for the Bank with relevant industry bodies. At all times this Compliance Officer will highlight to management any areas of weakness in relation to Compliance issues and work to resolve them as quickly and cost effectively as possible. Applicants require 3 years experience in a Compliance role with experience working on Basel II projects. In addition to this the Compliance Officer will require previous experience dealing with Financial Regulator and demonstrable ability to interpret complex prudential guidelines and translate these into meaningful business guidelines This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career and utilise their existing skills whilst developing new skills in a rapidly developing and dynamic environment.
