We currently have a role for a Risk Manager to work in a leading management consultant on the capital markets side of their business
The Risk Management resources will operate alongside Business, Risk Management and IT stakeholders to understand the risks generated from trading activities, measure and control the exposures and assist the front line business to improve their performance.

We are looking for canidates with experience in the following area's:
• Risk Management - cross asset risk management, analytics, market and credit risk , Economic Capital, RAROC, Stress Testing, Liquidity Risk
• Risk Management processing - from trade capture to risk measurement (trade mapping, reference data sourcing, exposure measurement) and risk reporting (exposure aggregation, counter party exposure reporting). Understand of Risk Reporting and Limit Management flows between Risk Control and Front Office.
• experience of working within an investment banking environment
• experience of implementing IT solutions and / or redesigning processes, in some of the following areas: pricing, settlements, trade processing, position management, portfolio management, risk management and finance
• strong understanding of full life-cycle IT implementation coupled with a strong understanding of the inherent business challenges and processes within those areas
• management experience should be commensurate with the proposed level they would be recruited at (Senior Manager level recruits are expected to have led a significant IT/business change programme(s) in the areas described above. Manager level recruits are expected to have led a team within a significant programme(s) or to have led a project in the areas described above. Consultant level recruits are expected to have played a major role in the delivery of a project/programme in the areas described above, e.g. a design lead, development lead, test lead, etc.
Your base location will be Ireland, although most of our consultants work on lengthy client engagements within Ireland and the UK practices. Therefore you must be willing to work away from home Monday to Friday as required.
