My client within the insurance sector currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with strong forecasting and analysis experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the General Insurance and Health Planning & Forecasting team
• Projection and analysis of the IFRS Income Statements and Balance Sheets
• Projection and analysis of the solvency and other capital measures
• Support for local market and requests for scenario forecasting
• Ensure that the planning and forecasting team have the necessary processes and controls in place
• Management of audit
• Ensure that the planning and forecasting team has appropriate systems and controls in place to comply with Aviva's standards for financial management and control.
• Specification and testing of changes to Financial model, Data Warehouse and IT developments for new product launches
• Develop and motivate a team of accounting and actuarial professionals
• Involvement in projects

REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified accountant must have experience within the insurance sector
• Extensive financial reporting experience including IFRS and regulatory solvency
• Strong forecasting, analysis and financial planning and modeling experience
