My client within the insurance sector currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant ideally with strong finance experience from Insurance or Banking RESPONSIBILITIES IFRS and local financial reporting including an extensive MI pack Ongoing analysis and interpretation of the financials Operational reporting to and on behalf of the various employees within the business Expense reporting including planning, forecasting and commentary on variances Managing all the financial and regulatory responsibilities Annual Statutory Financial Statements . Annual/quarterly returns to the Irish Financial Regulator Enhancing SAP reporting capabilities Establishing and maintaining a strong internal control system Liaising with auditors, both internal and external, to ensure procedures, processes & controls are in place REQUIREMENTS Qualified or nearly Accountant with Insurance or financial services experience only to apply Maintaining thoroughness and accuracy while meeting tight reporting deadlines A good practical knowledge of Excel Experience in IFRS reporting .
