My client within the Health Insurance sector currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with strong financial control, finance management experience. Candidates must have experience working within the finance area within the Health Insurance or other types of insurance sector RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees all financial matters for Insurance Company Ensures accurate and timely management accounts, statutory accounts, regulatory returns and tax returns Partner with business unit management to analyze and support full P&L responsibility Support the coordination and development of business unit financial plans and forecasting tools Lead development and implementation of business unit performance measures Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place for shared services and business unit Responsible for monthly financial close process including accurate communication to senior business and finance management. Provide project management support Ensure compliance with internal control and financial reporting guidance Support business unit competitive intelligence analysis and benchmarking.
