Our client is one of Ireland’s largest and best known financial companies, operating on a worldwide basis in over 30 countries.

They now require an experienced Qualified Financial Accountant to join their financial reporting team.

The duties will include:
• Preparation of Annual and quarterly Financial Regulator returns
• Preparation of the annual and half yearly reports to European head office.
• Analysing the key performance indicators of various business units
• Providing commentary and analysis to the Financial Reporting team
• Liaising with European head office in dealing with queries, ad hoc requests and projects.
• Updating reports, returns and processes for new accounting standards or reporting requirements
• Ensure maintenance of a strong internal control environment
• Liaising with internal and external auditors with regard to the financial accounts and annual returns

Skills and experience required:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Insurance industry experience is essential for this role- preferablt life insurance

Salary for this role will be up to EUR 60000 plus an attractive benefits package
