Job Title: Team Leader - Corporate Actions
Location: Dublin

Description:

We currently have an opportunity for a candidate with a background within Corporate Actions for a team leader role. While the companies preference is for a candidate with specific team leading experience, they will also consider a strong senior with the potential to manage.

This is a permanent position for which the client will offer an excellent salary and benefits.

The Data Management Corporate Actions team is responsible for processing income and capital events on both the Fund Accounting (GIO) and Back Office (Eagle) systems. The team in Dublin supports funds administration operations in Dublin and internationally. This is a key role for a highly skilled individual to contribute to an expanding team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the output of the corporate actions team, involving the determination, planning and control of workflow within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the corporate action function for both an investment management back office and a funds administrator.

· Manage key corporate action vendors and other third party relationships to ensure the highest service standard is achieved.

· Manage daily workflow and tasks to the team. Organise the work, set short-term priorities, monitor activities and ensure timely and accurate completion of work.

· Provide regular MIS reporting to senior management and client services teams.

· Conduct the performance management process and provide input to staffing decisions.

· Monitor client’s accounts and ensure they are receiving an excellent service at all times.

· Hold staff meetings and ensure on-going communication with head of department regarding production status and staff performance.

· Develop or enhance current procedures, improving productivity for team.

· Develop procedures for effective handling of new security transactions / client requests.

· Provide hands on training for new staff and on going training of experienced staff.

· Ensure that all queries from internal and external parties are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

· Ensure all reconciliation breaks are cleared in a timely manner and provide regular status updates to the Head of Department.

· Ensure staff morale/motivation is kept at a high level at all times.

· Ensure that operating procedures have been established and staff adhere to procedures. Enhance current procedures to improve productivity of the section.

· Assist clients and staff members in complex problem resolution. Consult on most effective way of meeting client requirement or resolving an error in existing process.

· Ensure that specialist knowledge is kept current amongst team members and seek out information on funds industry developments, future product offerings and market trends.
