Risk Management Consultant role.

Working with the team of Risk Consultants, the detailed duties and responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the business in the identification and assessment of risk
* identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risks faced by the company
* Provide training to business risk champions on risk management, in line with the RMF
* Collation of relevant risk assessments, loss events etc.
* Review and challenge the completeness and accuracy of risk assessments
* Preparation of regular risk management reports for submission to the Executive Management Team and the European Risk Team
* Ongoing development of risk policies and risk monitoring systems in line with both group and regulatory requirements.
* Working with business management to ensure that appropriate risk management procedures are incorporated into all major projects and into the business planning process
* Challenging and monitoring the effectiveness of controls and mitigating actions set out by business
* Supporting the development of good corporate governance practice in general by working closely with the Compliance, Finance and Internal Audit teams.

Qualifications:
Business degree and/or other relevant professional qualification.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience within a large financial institution or large professional practice and a proven understanding of risk management principles and processes.
