Large Multinational Company based in Dublin City Centre is urgently sourcing for European Tax Manager due to expansion of its Irish operations.

Being part of a Senior Management team as a Tax Manager you will:

• Manage both direct and indirect Tax Compliance with the Group
• Ensure all Taxation activity complies with group, legislative and regulatory standards.
• Provide Taxation related accounting journals each period to Finance and co-ordinate Taxation input into the Accounts
• Ensure that adequate controls are maintained and compliance with established risk policies, limits and practices
• Manage the preparation of accurate and timely VAT and Intra Stat and VIES returns and deal with other indirect tax compliance requirements of the group.
• Responsible for ongoing reviews of policy and procedures for improvements and adhere to relevant group policy and procedures relating to quality management
• Deal with relevant tax authorities where necessary and build on good working relationship with Irish Tax Authority.
• Ensure all correct registration and filings are made on a timely basis for all taxes.
• Ensure proper books and records are held for tax purposes in all jurisdictions and are in accordance with local tax requirements.
• Maintain the optimum transfer pricing structure with correct documentation and regular reviews.
• Provide input into employee related tax issues such as payroll, benefits, and overseas work placements.
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives for finance and cross-functionality

This is a great opportunity that came due to expansion of Irish offices of this multinational Co.
Suitable candidate for this role would be a fully Qualified Accountant and Tax Accountant with minimum of 5 years experience in International /European Tax function within Large Industry Business.

Knowledge of both direct and indirect taxation is essential.

Strong communications skills combined with enthusiasm and hands on approach are required.
