Treasury Manager – Dublin City Centre- Industry leading company experiencing ongoing growth

Our client is a large multi-national company and a household name in their sector. They have an exceptionally strong presence here in Ireland and also operate across Europe and in the UK. They have continued to experience sustained growth and as such now require a Treasury Manager to take join their finance team in Dublin City Centre

As Treasury Manager your duties will include:

• Responsible for the company’s cash and liquidity position, through management of their loan portfolio, European cash pool including all funding drawdowns/repayments and cash forecasting to minimise costs and maximise returns.
• Review Balance sheet analysis on a periodic basis and prepare forecasts as required.
• Responsible for foreign currency exposure for the business including the purchasing of foreign currency.
• Ensure compliance with IAS39 at all times.
• Monitor currency fluctuations where loans, cash balances and or intercompany balances are denominated in a currency different.
• Provide Treasury related accounting journals each period to Finance and co-ordinate Treasury’s input into the Accounts
• Maintenance of all intercompany loan documentation.
• Recording all treasury cash flows into cash books, including coding and reconciling to bank statements
• Ensure bank mandates are up to date, manage and negotiate charges and interest and set up new banking relationships and accounts where necessary.
• Ensure corporate compliance for statutory reporting for all countries
• Carry out company secretarial work for the group.

Experience and skills required:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Treasury is essential

Salary for the role will depend on experience but will reflect the seniority of the position but is expected to be in excess of EUR 70000
