My client within the financial services sector currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with strong regulatory/ statutory reporting experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reduce operational and regulatory risk
• Build effective relationships, in particular with Relationship Managers and Credit Approvers
• Ability and/or desire to supervise coach and develop individuals at analyst / junior analyst level
• Cover the reporting, monitoring and control for all of the Group, • Quarterly preparation, distribution and review of a portfolio
• Quarterly reconciliation of potentially reportable counterparties,
• Ensure key control returns are prepared in accordance with Regulatory requirements
• Ensure Regulatory compliance by monitoring corporate, inter-bank and sovereign exposure levels
• Liaise with Credit & Market Risk, Regulatory Risk and Treasury
• Co-ordinate the delivery of and provide constructive input into the team’s internal risk and control requirements
• Improve the internal control processes, checks and audit framework.
• Reduce process cycle times

REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified accountant with strong regulatory, statutory and risk experience
• Must have experience working in the financial services sector
