Our client is a large Insurance company based in Dublin 1 offering a range of products in life, general and reinsurance.

They now require a Finance Manager to take responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function, including the production of management accounts, statutory accounts and regulatory returns for the three insurance entities.

As Finance Manager your duties will include:

• Oversee the production of the financial and management accounts across the business
• Responsibility for the production of regulatory returns all business units
• Assist in the development of the finance function, including the expansion of financial systems in line with business growth
• Management of the Finance Team- both direct and indirect reports
• Maintaining and managing the financial, market, liquidity and counterparty risks and the maintenance of the capital and solvency position
• Preparation of Tax Returns for the business.
• Review standards of financial control across all business units
• Responsible for integrity of all financial data
• Work closely with both internal and external auditors

Skills and experience required:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Previous insurance experience essential for this role
• Excellent systems experience required , preferable SUN systems is desirable
• Previous staff management experience

Salary will be up to 70000 pro rata

This is initially a contract role so candidates will need to be available at short notice or have a flexible notice period
