Excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Accountant to work with one of our well known International Financial Services clients. Their operations in Dublin specialise in leasing and structured and asset finance deals. Our client's success and growth has been characterised by an entrepreneurial approach to business together with a strong commitment to effective risk management.
With close interaction with the Capital, Financial Operations and Taxation Divisions, you will report to the Finance Manager and have hands-on in involvement in the monthly management accounting process and statutory reporting processes.
The Role:
Hands on involvement in the monthly management accounting process
Preparation of monthly reconciliation reports
Preparation of tax calculations
Providing accounting support for other business units
Preparation of statutory accounts and VAT returns
Exposure to the forecasting and budgeting process
Other adhoc project work as required
The Candidate:
Accounting qualification ? ACA, ACCA, CIMAÂ
Ideally 2-3 years' relevant accounting experience
Experience in financial services and/or commerce including exposure to statutory reporting and tax
Able to interact with and influence all levels of staff, including senior management
Strong customer service ethic with risk management focus
Well organised, self-starter who can manage a range of competing priorities and projects, and meet deadlines
