This is a very broad role in Fund Administration, working in a highly professional, boutique environment. You will report to the Fund Administration Assistant Manager and will have daily interaction with the wider Financial Department and Actuaries.

Key Duties:

Place all daily trades as required. Verify that all movements are expected and accounted for. Ensure that all trades are placed before daily cut off time. Follow up with Fund Manager to obtain trade confirmations.

Manage cash balances across all funds. Place any necessary trades.

Collate prices for underlying assets. Compare two price sources and investigate any large movements in asset prices.

Import asset prices to Investpro, confirm trades and run daily valuation.

Monitor dividends to ensure all rates are applied on Investpro.

Calculate cost of acquisition on trades and apply rates on Investpro.

Apply coupons on Investpro as required.

Export valuations to Excel and check that all benchmarks are explained.

Ensure that all unit prices are sent to relevant dept by our daily cut off time.

Follow up with Investment team with any outstanding trades which have not settled.

Monthly hedge fund pricing- Ensure that all NAVs and trade confirmations are received from the FM. Run appropriation and valuation for hedge funds. Perform all necessary checks before releasing unit prices.

Follow up with the Investment team to ensure all redemption proceeds have been received.

Seeking candidates with a little experience in fund administration, the life industry would be an advantage. Familiarity with unit pricing, bonds, equities, futures, hedge funds, Bloomberg, Investpro and advantage.
