Job Title: Director Of Credit & Market Risk
Location: Dublin

Description:

Director of Credit Risk is required for leading financial services company.

Reporting to the Chief Credit Officer, the Director of Credit Risk is responsible for the Credit Risk funtion for the Group and will provide leadership and Direction to the Retail Credit Risk team via development and maintenance of retail credit risk Frameworks.

Some other duties may include:


• Develop and maintain Basel and Operational Models .
• The development and communication of the Group Credit Culture in the Retail division including ensuring that Credit policies are consistent with the companies Credit policy and comply with all regulatory requirements and are clearly communicated to all relevant staff
• Optimise Retail Credit quality through ensuring best practice/processes in Credit Sanctioning, Management and Control
• Accountability for forecasts and performance against forecastson the Impairments line on the P&L and for RWA’s/Credit capital requirements in the Balance Sheet
• Development of stress scenarios and testing providing insight to a range of possible outcomes and thereby avoiding surprises
• Lead and develop the management team to ensure maintenance of appropriate skills levels and career development.
• Support Chief Credit Officer and play a proactive role as part of Credit & Market Risk Senior Management team in achieving overall Credit & Market Risk business objectives.

Requirements:


• Strong leadership, people management and communications skills including the ability to influence other Senior Executives.
• Strong strategic awareness with demonstrated ability to proactively manage change.
• Strong risk skills allied to good business knowledge/judgement.
• Proven ability to deliver against stretching objectives and targets
• Effective team skills and proven high quality interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and productive relationships with business partners
