Qualified Management Accountant- Co Meath

Our client is a leading manufacturing and distribution company based in Co Meath. They are a leader in their field operating across Ireland and Europe.

They now require a Qualified Cost Accountant to join their Finance Team. The role will focus on costing, pricing decisions involving cost, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting and is a permanent role.

The main duties will include:

• Develop, maintain and report on quarterly and full year rolling profit and loss forecasts.
• Reporting on profitability at product line, product and customer level.
• Prepare detailed financial analysis on key performance indicators for the business.
• Annual budget preparation, including labour and cost of sales budget.
• Preparation of Sales Pricing models
• Responsible for analysis, investigation and reporting on production efficiencies, work order variances, scrap analysis, stocks and other production KPI’s.
• Provide financial analysis support to Lean Six Sigma project..
• Involved in long term financial planning for the business
• Provide financial analysis support to assist decision making in relation to introduction of new products/services, operational and supply chain activities, contract negotiations etc.

Skills and experience required for this role:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
• Previous costing experience gained in a manufacturing environment essential

Salary for the role will depend on experience but an attractive benefits package is also on offer.
