Custody Reconciliations Officer My client, an international bank based in the IFSC, currently requires a Custody Reconciliations Officer to complete a 9 month contract within their operations department. Working within the operations team, the main focus of your role will be to monitor multi-currency trading accounts and perform daily reconciliations of custody accounts, ensuring that your internal accounts reflect the same as your custodian's accounts. Should there be any discrepancies, you will be expected to investigate where errors have occurred and take steps to remedy the problem. This includes, calculating the cost of errors made by counter parties for interest claims. Ideal candidate:
• You should have at least 2 years banking and financial services industry experience performing relevant tasks to this role.
• Due to the nature of the role, my client will be looking for a confident individual with a proactive approach to their work.
• Strong reconciliation skills and an understanding of multi-currency accounts is a must
• You must have strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external departments
• Fluent in English - another European language would be an advantage (However, English is a must) Remuneration: Remuneration will reflect the level of knowledge and experience.
