Experience / Qualifications
• Qualified accountant with at significant post qualification experience. Insurance experience is essential ideally including general insurance, reinsurance and life accounting.
• Excellent understanding of financial accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Regulatory reporting requirements
• Experience in tax and tax related compliance matters for insurance companies.
• High quality planning and organisational skills with a proven track record in delivery to agreed timetables
• Experience in audit and review processes.
• Complex analytical reasoning, enabling appraisal of strategic opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral communication,
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish productive relationships at senior and executive management level.
