Sales Director Limerick Working with a leading US company who have operations in Ireland, UK, Mainland Europe and the US and are looking to appoint a Sales Director to expand in existing markets, enter new markets and develop the sales/market entry model to maximize the sales potential in those markets. The Sales Director position reports to the CEO. Responsibilities Manage the global Sales team to deliver to individual and regional Sales targets defined. Sales Team encompasses New Business Sales, Account Management, Sales Support and Marketing functions. Adapt the sales model to different markets as appropriate- examples Direct, Reseller, OEM, Joint Venture etc. Source and develop the relationship with strategic Channel Partners within the different markets for sales and support of the products. Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts and present to the board as required. Make an active contribution to the strategic direction of the organisation. Managing the Sales budget and evaluating the effectiveness of the different Sales Strategies. Key Skills/Qualifications 5+ years experience in a similar position. Proven track record in Sales and Sales development with strong evidence of a hands-on approach. Experience of Tier 1 Enterprise sales. Experience in being on or dealing with Boards. Proven track record in delivering and closing Multi Million deals to Multinational companies. Experience in software /technology solution selling is essential. International sales experience is essential Experience in managing a global sales team is required. Experience within the Waste and Environmental sectors is an advantage but not essential. Salary is approx 90,000+. Primarily based in Munster but travel will be involved both national & international. Its a new position within the company.
