Job Title: Business Analyst - Financial Services
Location: Dublin
Position Type: Full Time
Ref: Business Analyst
Remuneration: Negotiable

Description:

We currently have a role for a Business Analyst with a background in financial services. This is a permanent position with a company who will provide a very good salary and benefits. Candidates should have approximately 2 years experience as a business analyst in a financial services environment. Experience within payments would be beneficial but not essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Identification of potential process improvements and cost value analysis
Ø High priority issue handling in a professional and efficient manner
Ø Analysis, modification and creation of business processes to find the most efficient and effective business rules and procedures for the client in question – find ‘ best practice’ for client
Ø Drafting and documenting new business procedures and business rules
Ø In depth analysis of reporting and presentation of info to relevant parties at all levels
Ø Monitor Operational activity on a daily basis and take appropriate action should delivery fall below expectation. Suggest new ways to adequately determine operational activity where necessary
Ø SLA and KPI monitoring and creation
Ø Preparation of complex requests for information with clearly outlined deadlines and deliverables
Ø Collect, analyze, interpret and collate data for various clients from multiple sources and present in a clear and easily interpretable format
Ø Perform comprehensive impact analysis work on planned operational changes and project initiatives for new and existing clients
Ø Responsibility for deliverance of all reporting of project activities on time
Ø Coordinate with other departments and senior management – IT / Finance etc in relation to deliverance of launch dates/deadlines for new clients
Ø Key account contact for clients project integration to daily operations
Ø Documentation of launch requirements for new and existing clients, business processes / solutions etc.
Ø Organization of regular briefing and discussion of the projects results in order to ensure that the whole team has a clear and deep understanding of the projects results
Ø Responsibility for all aspects of Business Analysis during the project life cycle including requirements gathering, system specifications, design, development, test and implementation.
Ø Ability to document and flowchart complex business processes, procedures, system manuals and solutions using standard procedures, methods and tools.
Ø Participate in the induction and the training of trainee Assistant Business Analysts and Business Analysts
