Finance Manager Public Sector Education Finance Manager is required for a well know Public Sector Educational Body based in the City .This is a 4 month contract with an immediate start and a View to Permanency . Duties to include: Financial reporting both internally and externally Oversight of the collation and tracking of all financial data Providing high level activity reports as required. Compiling monthly management information and providing detailed analysis. Setting budgets, providing variance analysis, and issuing cash flow projections. Financial planning and scenario modeling to assist with operational reviews and business planning activities. Maintaining systems for monitoring income and expenditure. Providing guidance and support to Principal Investigators in relation to research grant management. Liaising with external funding bodies and agencies, specifically with large scale external grants . Liaising with central administration at both a strategic planning level, and on day-to-day matters. Oversight of daily activities including processing of orders, invoices and payments for research grants. Requirements: Qualified accountant with 3-5 years' of financial experience in a comparable position. Public Sector /Education Experience A minimum of 3-5 years management accounting and reporting experience ideally gained in a medium or large organisation.
