| Description: |
Derivatives Client Services Specialist
This position entails communicating with clients – both internal and external – on all aspects of the settlement of derivative product transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Agreeing all cashflows with clients by phone and/or fax using source system information and resolving any differences that arise.
• Preparing daily cashflows for funding and release to our correspondent bank network in accordance with banking deadlines.
• Ensuring integrity of information in source systems (both transaction and counterparty information).
• Timely resolution of all non-receipts/unadvised funds with clients.
• Advising clients of rate resets, amounts and new period on transaction rollover.
• Liaising with Dublin Control Group and London Finance on reconciliation items.
• The settlement of cash transactions
• Responsible for escalating all outstanding items / queries to Senior Management for reporting purposes
Requirements:
• Effective communication skills.
• Accuracy in the work, high degree of organisation and ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• A good understanding of multi-currency banking
• A good working knowledge of Excel and Word
• 1-2 years’ previous experience in a similar role
