Seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist for the Asset Services team of a Global Prime Brokerage. The Asset Services department provides calculation, processing,reconciliation and payment services for proprietary trading and prime brokerage clients. The function requires the capture and processing of Corporate Action and Dividend events.
The Role:
Processing of Dividend events in an accurate, timely and consistent manner.
Resolution of any processing issues and liaison with other areas of the business including Settlements, Trading Desk Support, and Corporate Actions.
Product Data Support and Client On boarding Services, involving a high degree of telephone and e-mail contact with internal and external counter-parties.
Follow-up on all payables and receivables. Timely recovery of funds claimed.
Daily allocation of client money.
Compliance with all relevant Regulatory requirements.
To identify changes to processes and procedures that will improve control,
efficiency, reduce risk and/or improve client services.

The Person:
Reconciliation and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong PC skills, particularly Excel and the ability to multi task.
Third level qualification or equivalent by experience.
A flexible approach to work and the needs of the department.
Dividend experience would be very beneficial.
Knowledge of the Prime Broker business ideally.
Experience in dealing with clients and queries.
Previous US dividend experience an advantage.
