| Description: |
A well-established, Co Cork based, design studio, with an established international reputation for creating work at the highest level, wish to appoint a part-time Financial Administrator who will work closely with the Owner/Director on the Studio's financial management.
The Financial Administrator will be responsible for the bookkeeping and financial functions of the business. The role will include, but not be limited to:
General bookkeeping
Maintenance of sales and purchase logs
Generation of Quotations where appropriate
Generation of invoices and statements where appropriate
Generation of income and expenditure projections
Maintenance of cashflow
Maintenance of expense accounts
Payments to suppliers and other creditors
Nominal ledger coding & entry
Bank reconciliation
Updating and submission of quarterly VAT returns
Payroll
Assist in Insurance review and renewal
Generation of financial reports as required

| Required Skills: |
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication skills
Be highly motivated
Have the ability to achieve deadlines
Have the ability to work on their own initiative |
| Desirable Skills: |
Experience of Big Red Book Accounts software would be an advantage
Experience in export financing/insurances and foreign exchange risk management would be an advantage
Knowledge of integrated systems would be an advantage |
| Experience: |
A qualified accounting technician with 2-4 years financial management experience in an SME environment, ideally in a similar sector. |
