| Description: |
Business processes - Finance department
•Identify Finance business processes that need to be analysed, documented and
potentially improved.
•Measure and review identified business processes to ensure effectiveness and
efficiency.
•Analyse cross-functional process interfaces and communication. Help in
agreeing relevant departmental roles and responsibilities in relation to such
cross over processes.
•Analyse and document business processes and workflows, identify bottlenecks,
and propose recommended solutions.
•Investigate options for achieving improvement by redesigning the processes
currently in operation. Update documentation to reflect changes in
processes.
•Work with relevant operational staff to achieve continuous process
improvement.
•Help drive Finance shared services centre efficiencies.
•Aid in the creation of new processes for new businesses and
acquisitions.
System/Projects Responsibilities
•Participate in group projects to ensure the development and implementation
of best practice financial systems, reporting, processes, and procedures.
•Active participation on new systems implementations.
•Help in the integration of new businesses from a Finance perspective.
•Other ad hoc systems and projects work as may be assigned from time to
time.

| Experience: |
Experience:
•Qualified/Part Qualified accountant
•At least 3-4 years relevant experience in Industry/Practice.
•Strong skills in Process Mapping including excellent analytical skills with
a demonstrated ability to document and extensively analyse business processes
and workflows in order to identify, quantify and resolve issues.
•Strong experience of Financial ERP Systems is an advantage.
•Finance shared services centre experience an advantage.
•Previous systems project experience a benefit.
