My client, a reputable financial services company are looking to recruit a
Client Accountant (part qualified).
This is a great opportunity for ambitious and career driven individuals as
there are lots of internal promotion opportunities as the business is growing
rapidly and constantly winning new clients.
Very interested in profiles from practice where one
has been involved in accounts preparation, audit, client interaction, tax,
company secretarial.
The primary role of the Part qualified Client Accountant is to have full
responsibility for a portfolio of aircraft leasing and securitisation clients
and to complete accurate management accounts for clients in a timely manner.
Manager is looking for very high calibre, motivated candidates with solid
accounting experience, excellent excel.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
•Collating, critically assessing and analysing financial information and then
completing accurate management accounts for a portfolio of clients
•Build knowledge on the aircraft leasing and securitisation industry in terms
of technical accounting and industry activities
•Preparation of financial statements
•Instructing the Auditors annually and liaising with the Auditors to ensure a
smooth audit process
•Overseeing, in conjunction with the Company Secretarial Unit, that all
company secretarial matters pertaining to your client portfolio are dealt with
efficiently
•Ensuring that all statutory returns (including all forms of tax returns, CSO
returns, the filing of notifications etc) are made in an accurate and timely
manner

| Experience: |
The part qualified accountant would ideally be about half way through their
exams
Salary: €35k
•Minimum of 2- 3 years accounting experience under their belt
•Good solid debits and credits experience
•Excellent excel skills is essential
•A plus would be experience in accounting for securities, dealing with fair
values & impairments etc.
•Strong focus on FS transactions / IFRS reporting is an advantage
•Will work alongside an accountant on large FS transactions
•Must have strong accounts preparation experience
•Also of benefit - exposure to company secretarial, audit & tax matters,
financial instruments and working to tight deadlines
