Financial Accountant – Contract
This role will work as part of the existing Dublin Finance Team who are responsible for completing daily financial control processes, report production, production of the monthly management accounts, and completion of the month end close process for company corporate entities.
Responsibilities:
•Provision of day-to-day financial oversight for a number of corporate entities
•Production and processing of daily accounting journals in the finance general ledger
•Production of balance sheet reconciliations
•Production of monthly financial accounts including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and monthly financial accounting files in accordance with group reporting deadline Production of month end analytics and trend data to assist with review and validation of results
•Completion of other adhoc finance related project work in conjunction with the Finance Team and as required

Skills / Experience Required
•Recently qualified accountant with at least 3years’ experience in a similar role
•Ability to partner effectively with peers, line managers, business and overseas partners
•Highly numerate with strong analytical and organisational skills and high attention to detail
•Good oral and written communication skills
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Ability to work effectively and independently to ensure critical deadlines are met
•Ability to identify and problem solve
•Flexible approach towards changing work methods and variable workloads
•Strong IT skills notably Excel to advanced level and Word [essential]
