Leading Investment Bank, based in the city centre is seeking to hire an experienced Financial Accountant to join their management accounts team on a contract basis. Reporting to the CFO this role will involve assisting the management accounts team in all financial reporting tasks. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, with a balance sheet in excess of 20bn, comprising mainly of loans, securities and derivatives
• Prepare consolidated account reports
• Prepare annual and bi-annual local Financial Statements
• Review internal controls Key Skills:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with specific banking or funds experience
• Thorough knowledge of financial products and instruments with respect to their accounting treatment
• Strong systems and risk control skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
