The Company Global Financial Services company with a significant presence in Ireland is seeking to hire an experienced Supervisor in Hedge Fund Accounting for a client facing role on a 12 month contract basis. The Role
• This is a multifocused client facing fund accounting/unit pricing role, ensuring total accuracy and ownership of all accounting data delivered to the clients (End Client / Portfolio Managers / etc)
• Assist in working on a small select number of products, and by achieving an in-depth knowledge of the products/their clients, will be able to give a fault free service to the highest standard
• Responsible for Review of the daily reporting to the cleint and well as the monthly NAV calculation of the funds
• Ensure the overall accuracy of the NAV calculation (Data Integrity, Reconciliations, Income, Trade support, Corporate Actions)
• Have experience in the various hedge fund structures and investor allocations
• Provide support role to Clients including accuracy of cash and positional reporting / weekly NAV Analysis/ all adhoc reporting requirements The Person
• Experience in Hedge Funds Accounting environment (in a supervisor/senior reporting role)
• A Business or Finance related Degree
• Product Knowledge - a good working knowledge of the various hedge funds products: equities, fixed income, fx, futures, options, & cds
• Proficient in MS Excel
