Leading Irish based Growth Company with a global footprint is seeking to engage an experienced Group Finance Director on an interim management basis. Great opportunity to join a pioneering company in their thriving sector in a key management role for a 7 month contract. The successful person will manage and deliver a sound financial strategy and control to optimise and support the performance of the group. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide financial direction, advice, oversight and control to ensure appropriate financial planning, performance management and reporting is in line with company strategy and objectives
• Provide oversight for the Group Tax function
• Responsible for technical accounting issues and group accounting policies
• Provide weekly cash flow reporting and cash flow forecasting - analysing the impact of business opportunities on projected cash flows and resources
• Manage the annual audit process and ensure the group is compliant with its statutory reporting obligations
• Manage group treasury function and liaise closely with Corporate Finance
• Manage performance of small team of direct reports Key Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant with significant industry experience, ideally within construction, renewable energy or similar development based industry
• Sound budgeting, variance analysis and forecasting skills are essential
• Strong controls focus, a methodical approach to work with the ability to think strategically and influence others when required
• Working capital and treasury management experience
