| Insurance Regulatory Capital is seeking to recruit a Chief Investment Officer. The CIO will report into the CEO. The position is responsible for overseeing the investment process and for building and managing the company's portfolio of insurance subordinated debt. They will lead the credit team and will be responsible for bringing investment cases to the Credit Committee. |

| Required Skills: |
Principal responsibilities:
Build and manage a portfolio of subordinated debt issued by mid-cap insurers.
Develop and implement investment criteria.
Develop pricing strategies.
Oversee the construction of models at an asset and portfolio level.
Monitor and report on portfolio performance.
Successful candidates will have the following characteristics:
Insurance banking experience
Experience managing investments in financial services assets: private equity or bonds.
Reinsurance or Insurance experience.
A strong analytical background and written communication skills.
Ability to project manage to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to manage a team. |
