| Description: |
Life Underwriter
The purpose of the role is to support the Chief Underwriter to assess risks, ratify claims, undertake research and provide advice to external and internal clients. In doing so the Senior Underwriter must adhere to relevant legislation, treaty terms and service level agreements that are in place. Perform underwriting and claims audits when warranted. Assist in researching medical articles and statistics for internal and external use. Provide advice to clients on underwriting and claims practices to include cross functional support.
