Director of Sales - New York

My client is one of the largest and most successful banking groups in the world.

The Requirement

Due to ambitious growth plans and exceptional demand for their services, they are seeking a highly accomplished, proactive and motivated professional to lead their New York team.


• This truly is a unique opportunity, which will become apparent on disclosure of my client's name, profile and commitment to the broader asset servicing industry.
• This is a significant appointment for the Group and the incumbent will already have highly-developed relationships with C-Suite executives in the alternative investment industry.
• The role will involve selling Middle and Back Office services, however, the successful candidate will also be strategic in crafting client solutions by combining complementary services sourced from the wider Group. These will include Custody, FX, Financing and various other Banking services required by our client base.

The successful candidate should possess the following:


• A strong understanding of front, middle and back office trading and support operations within the alternative investment industry; including, but not limited to, Fund Administration, Custody and FX.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, organisational and selling skills are required.
• Exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision makers.
• A highly developed network of contacts within the alternative investment industry.
• A proven talent for networking at an executive level to target new business.
• Ability to leverage corporate relationships both internally and externally to achieve strategic targets with a focus on opening new client relationships and ultimately new revenue streams.
• Ability to uncover opportunities, scope client needs and craft solutions using the resources of the group.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:


• An impressive network of contacts within the alternative investment funds industry.
• Proven ability to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
• A deep and expert knowledge of the fund management, asset management and the private equity client base in the USA.
• Experience in developing complex financial solutions for high-value clients.

Compensation:

A very attractive compensation package is on offer for this key appointment, including base salary, commissions and health care.
