| Description: |
Advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, IPO's, public and private fundraisings, capital markets, debt advisory as well as the provision of strategic advice Awareness of domestic and international financial / economic developments
Building and maintaining a network of relationships across corporates, private equity investors, venture and growth capital providers, institutional investors, bank and credit fund debt providers as well as other service providers and advisors
Research and identification of corporate transactions and financing opportunities, and the strategic rationale therefor, across various markets for clients and working with Directors / Senior Management to develop proposals on behalf of our clients
Building and developing complex transaction and financing models
Preparation of pitch books and presentations and delivering presentations to clients on potential corporate transaction and financing opportunities in conjunction with Directors / Senior Management
Co-ordinate and manage the preparation / review of key transaction documents including information memorandums, circulars and prospectuses, investment summaries, management presentations, share sale agreements, subscription and shareholders agreements, equity and debt financing documents and other ancillary documents typical of the transactions Investec advises on
Take a lead role on internal deal teams to manage the transaction process from inception to conclusion including valuation, due diligence, review and negotiation of legal documents and completion
Leading and directing junior members of the team
Co-ordinating all aspects of the transaction process including input from other advisors and service providers as well as client management and internal transaction teams
Communicating and liaising with senior client management
Provision of advice to public companies in relation to Listing and Takeover Rules
Working with Investec's international offices on cross-border and related transactions and leveraging Investec's international presence to support Irish based clients

| Desirable Skills: |
Minimum 4 years Corporate Finance experience
Ideal candidates will have a first class academic record
Strong computer skills, Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentations in particular
Excellent interpersonal skills
A commercial individual with high energy levels
Knowledge or familiarity with relevant public company regulations including Listing and Takeover Rules desirable
