Senior Custodial Banking Representative

Responsibilities

The Senior Client Service Representative is responsible for a wide range of duties and is responsible for ensuring proper servicing of investment portfolios by Operations and the Client Service Group personnel. They deputise for the Supervisor and act as first point of escalation for clients and CSG personnel.

Expected Outputs and Duties:

Oversee that CSG personnel are reviewing all activity processed by Operations across clients’ accounts. Organise and participate in regular review meetings with Operations

Ensure all client inquiries are being dealt with and that team members are proactively anticipating clients needs. Act as first point of escalation for clients

Ensure regular service review meetings are held with clients

Know when to escalate issues to their supervisor or higher if required.

Help staff members in building and maintaining good client relationships.

Act as a resource to other less-experienced team members, giving them knowledge about our business and the clients. Train new staff members on systems and procedures

Review Management Reports, Board Reports and other ad-hoc reports before distribution to the client

Liaising with auditors and reviewing the audit confirmations prepared by the CAM

Utilize the firm’s technology solutions to effectively and efficiently manage client inquiries.

Contribute to improvement and productivity of the client team and standards of service

Analyse client activity to try and maximize opportunities for to work with the client, as well as introducing the clients to relevant products.

Perform analysis on activity over the clients’ accounts: STP rates, communication methods, Inquiry Manager usage, etc

Assist Supervisors with projects and audits. Deputise for Supervisors in their absence.

Required Skills: High degree of analytical ability, ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure

Experience: 2-4 years custody experience, with emerging markets experience a plus
