My Client is one of the top practices here in Ireland. Due to growth they require intelligent, motivated, and highly experienced professionals, looking to take their career to the next level.



You will have 3 years PQE experience within industry or a practice setting. Ideally holding both a ITI qualification and a ACA/ACCA. With experience leading tax advisory and tax planning projects directly, management experience where you have previously mentored and assisted in the development of junior team members. This is an excellent chance for a driven manager to develop their skills further and play a bigger part in the development of a business function.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Leading tax advisory and tax planning projects, from a direct tax perspective.
Preparation of detailed tax technical memorandums for advisory projects.
Managing a portfolio of corporate tax compliance cases.
Corresponding with Revenue on behalf of clients.
Co-ordinate, supervise and review work of junior staff members.
Assisting in the firm’s business development initiatives.
Work closely with other departments within the firm to identify opportunities to assist existing clients.

Management of Department

Assist with the delivery of agreed strategic departmental objectives.
Financial and commercial responsibility for your client portfolio performance.
Assist senior management in monitoring finance KPI’s including utilization rates, recovery rates, fees etc.
Assist with and deliver training, both formal and on job.
Deliver technical updates and training courses.
Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time due to the exigencies of business.

Required Skills: Excellent IT skills (including all MS Office applications).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Proven ability to have a good attention to detail.
Experience: 2/3 years PQE – ITI and/or ACA or ACCA.
Experience in delivering corporate tax advisory services and project management.
Prior experience of working with FDI cases is desirable but not essential.
Experience in managing a corporate client portfolio, including the commercial management (i.e. fees, WIP, debtors etc.).
A strong working knowledge of Transfer Pricing, VAT and employment tax issues (domestic and international).
Experience in managing junior staff.
