| Description: |
An excellent opportunity has arisen to be a part of the Limerick Financial Control team, in one of the world's leading financial institutions. The rapidly growing team is responsible for completing financial control processes, report production, timely issue resolution and providing ad-hoc support as required to the EMEA regional finance teams. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of operations and other Finance teams to understand the business and ensure that the books and records accurately reflect the business undertaken, with adherence requirements to accounting policy and local GAAP for the relevant legal entities.
Responsibilities:
Ownership of a number of centralized processes for the EMEA region
Provide technical input to systems and business process projects as required
Manage a team of 3 finance professionals
Produce month end analytics and trend data to assist with the review and validation of financial results
Complete the production of monthly management accounts for a number of legal entities, produce the reconciliations and ensure all the documentation and accounting is completed in line with corporate requirements and policies
Complete daily accounting, administration and oversight to support the financial accounts production process for a number of legal entities
Work with the head of Financial Control on Limerick to recommend and implement standardized process improvements identified in the day to day activities. |

| Required Skills: |
Qualified accountant (ACA /ACCA)
5 years PQE ina multi-currency financial services environment
People management experience
Experienced background in a corporate financial control environment with sound knowledge of accounting, reporting and financial control requirements as well as statutory and audit requirements
Experience of US GAAP or IFRS would be an advantage but not essential
Advanced level of IT such as MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) |

Ability to work as part of a team in the region and a part of the broader EMEA Finance team
Ability to assess issues, identify solutions and problem solve |
