| Description: |
My client is one of the world‘s leading financial institutions and an excellent opportunity for a qualified Auditor to join their Audit Services Function and to focus audits of my clients asset servicing and asset management activities within EMEA. The right candidate may have the opportunity to lead audit project teams and provide audit team oversight and communicating results to management. This role involves providing technical expertise and training to auditors within the engagements audit team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Audit specialists, Audit Team Leads and Audit Managers to confirm the scope of the Audit and to devise an appropriate testing approach to be performed during engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Provides training, coaching and auditing expertise to auditors during the audit engagement.
• Supports and leads audit teams in executing risk based audit projects.
• Responsible for planning, scoping and executing, documenting and communication of audit results to both Audit and business units.
• During the planning of audit, develops a budget and / or time frames for hoe the audit will be completed.
• Applies analytical skills to review and test business processes, preform risk and control assessments document results and report the audit results including the adequacy of controls.
• Communicate audit results with partners at all levels, and present recommendations on operations and controls to the business unit.
• Review work of all member of the engagement teams ensuring Departmental Audit Standards have been met.

| Required Skills: |
• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA /ACCA or equivalent) PQE 1 year
• Extensive knowledge and application of audit procedures and standards (planning, execution and reporting of an audit) - related work experience is required
• Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures that relate to auditing / accounting.
• Analytical skills are necessary to prepare and document audit reviews
• Experience auditing asset servicing and / or asset management activities
• Knowledge of risk controls, including operational, compliance, and credit risks.
• Knowledge of operations, functions and objectives of interfacing areas is required to properly audit operations, servicing, system, workflow and the operational impact on other areas

• Big4 training within financial services |
| Required Education: |
• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA /ACCA or equivalent) PQE 1 year
Degree in Business / Accountancy and Finance and Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) |
