The Role:
This new dynamic role with my client, a global wealth management company based in Munster, will involve day-to-day payroll production and completion.
You be responsible for assigned payrolls and reviewing the work of other team members including the review of payroll data input and manual calculations.
You will also improve and maintain existing procedures, controls and practices to ensure compliance with regional policies, tax and other payroll-related laws and regulations.
This role will also incorporate vendor management activities and system testing and updates. Ideally you will be experienced in dealing with payroll in several different countries; UK experience in particular is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
• Payroll production of assigned payrolls including and year-end activities
• Reviewing payroll adjustment requests to ensure proper authorization and compliance with corporate policies, employment tax and other payroll-related laws
• Researching and resolving sensitive payroll and/or tax withholding, deposit or reporting related issues
• Responding to payroll inquiries from all levels to explain pay, adjustments to pay, and impact of policies, tax law and related changes
• Reviewing the work of other staff including review of data payroll input and manual calculations
• Analysing existing policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with tax and other payroll-related laws and regulations
• Recommending and implementing modifications of existing payroll processes
• Working directly with vendors to ensure changes submitted are correctly reflected on the payroll
• Preparing and monitoring payroll tax and general ledger accounts and working with finance to reconcile discrepancies
• Responsible for input or review of country/regional metrics for assigned payrolls and any other applicable management reports
• Performing assigned vendor management activities to ensure adherence to corporate vendor management standards
• Serving a key subject matter expert and train Analyst and Associate Consultant level team members
• Working on projects as requested and learning project management skills

• Equity and Mobility exposure
• UK Benefits & Pension Administration
• Experienced in working with outsourced Payroll Vendors

| Experience: |
• 7 years of payroll required; preferably dealing with multiple countries.
• Familiar with all aspects of payroll processing including payroll production, reconciliation
