The Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant for the role of Internal Audit Supervisor with one of the world’s leading Financial Institutions based in Dublin. This is an exciting new role where the right candidate will get the opportunity to carry out special project work. Are you a fully qualified Accountant with 4 years+ experience working within a financial services environment? If so then apply today!
Responsibilities:
• Undertake specified Internal Audit assignments, ensuring that the work contributed is of desired standard
• Liaise with our external audit SOC 1/ISAE 16 providers on a number of their requests and follow up
• Research key internal control indicators for their relevance
• Ensure all audit work papers are documented
• Prepare audit reports detailing issues found and recommending corrective and preventative actions to resolve them
• Carry out special project work
• To complete audits in timely and cost effective manner
• Working closely with other members of the Internal Audit teams to identify opportunities for a better working practice
• Contribute to the development of internal audit function

| Required Skills: |
• Excellent communication skills |
| Experience: |
• ACA/ACCA/CIA/CPA or similar qualification
• Big 4 trained (Preferably)
• A knowledge of Audit procedures including planning, audit testing, analytical review and types of sampling involved in conducting audits
• Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and to compare and present concise oral and written reports
• Strong organization and planning skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other staff members
• 5 years+ experience working in an Audit or related role |

• Degree in business related field (Accounting and Finance irreparably) |
