X2 OTC Derivatives Specialists - New Team
My client, a global wealth management company now have incredible vacancies for skilled middle office specialists with strong trades experience to work in their rapidly expanding Munster base. These roles provide great autonomy and career prospects from the outset; Build and lead your own team in this middle office department.
My client is looking for true middle office professionals - trade capture experience in addition to strong client interaction, experience in affirmations, monitoring the trades and sending directly to the market are all essential for these roles.
Responsibilities
• Efficiently identify and resolve transaction discrepancies between firm and swap counterparties
• Ensuring timely receipt of electronic - based OTC confirmations from trading counterparties
• Reviewing swap confirmations covering all OTC products such as total return swaps, equity options, structured equity products, convertible bond options, credit defaults, rates and fixed income products
• Managing the settlement of swap cash flows associated with OTC products, including unwinds, quarterly fees, resets, upfront fees, coupons and premiums
• Assisting in daily trade capture of OTC trades and exception queue monitoring
• Reviewing corporate action bookings and dividends/coupons to ensure correctly affecting position
• Assisting in development and implementation projects which promote automation and efficiency as well as work with IT in the development/enhancement of trade entry
• Processing all aspects of periodic resets for vanilla and exotic IRS, CDS, and TRS products

| Required Skills: |
• 5 years+ relevant experience in OTC Middle Office / Operations
• Primary product expertise - TRS / CFDs
• Secondary product expertise - IRS / Credit Derivatives
• Strong CFD’s experience- ( high volume) is essential
• Excellent communication skills; (there will be client interaction and this role will involve liaising with the US team)
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures, familiar with financial markets and instruments and Hedge Fund structures
• Client services experience
