Your Opportunity
Our client, the EMEA HQ of a Global FinTech firm, is currently recruiting for a recently qualified ACA to join their Dublin based finance function. This is a firm known for innovation and for encouraging colleagues to think creatively about and solve problems on a daily basis.
As a financial accountant, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting with the preparation of management, statutory and group reporting
• Act as financial SME on a range of global and regional projects
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Assist with regulatory returns in Ireland and other jurisdictions
• Independently take responsibility for key operational functions
This is a broad role in a progressive environment where you will be able to learn, add value and progress quickly.
Your Background
This is a key hire and a challenging role so you must be coming from a Big 4 environment with first rate academics including first time passes. Ideally, you will have trained in and managed assignments in FinTech or complex Financial Services.
Aside from this, you should:
• Be ambitious, capable and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Have an in-depth knowledge of Excel and manipulating high volumes of data
• Already have or be capable of developing a strong understanding of various reporting standards and regulatory requirements including IFRS, US GAAP, CRD IV and CRR
