| Description: |
Financial Accountant- Asset Manager
My client, an asset manager based in Dublin 2, has an immediate vacancy for a financial accountant to join their established financial reporting team. You will have responsibility for ensuring the efficient operation of the daily accounting tasks including monthly management accounting and preparation of statutory financial statements.
Duties
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed analytical review of the balance sheets and P&Ls,
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly management reporting to local management and dealing with accounting queries from stakeholders
• Support all audits including corporate, statutory and SOX
• Annual & Interim Regulatory reporting to the CBI and quarterly reporting to CSSF
• Preparation and filing of VAT returns and corporate tax reporting to group on a monthly basis

| Required Skills: |
• Extensive month end accounts preparation experience
• Preferably from a practice background with multinational Financial Services experience in a corporate accounting environment
• Knowledge of US GAAP, Lux GAAP and IFRS essential
|
| Experience: |
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel (LOOKUPS, pivot tables) and MS Word
• Knowledge of Oracle R12 would be a big plus
|
| Required Education: |
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) preferably with at least 2 years post qualified experience in practice and/or the Financial Services industry |
